Nags Head Family Fun Run
An off road race of just under 2 miles around the village. Entry is free and registration is at the Nags Head by 6:15 p.m. All welcome. Prizes to be won!
Family Treasure Hunt

An exciting and challenging treasure hunt around Scalby Village. Great fun for all the family. Entry is only 50p per person and £1 per family. Registration from 6:00p.m. outside the Nags Head, Scalby.
Wine Tasting and BBQ Evening

Enjoy tasting your favourite, and new wines, in the friendly atmosphere of the beer garden at The Nags Head (indoors if wet). Listen to the comments and advice from our wine enthusiast and improve your knowledge in a most enjoyable way. An entrance fee of £7.50 for adults covers all wine with delicious hot food available to line the stomach!!! From 7.00pm

Ali & the Beachcombers
A great night of fun and music performed by Scarborough based band Ali & the Beachcombers.
Playing their fusion of Reggae, Latin and Ska. The finest Reggae band in the North East will be mixing groovy originals with well known covers. Expect to hear songs by Bob Marley, Desmond Dekker, Dawn Penn, Gregory Issacs, Manu Chau, The Specials, Smokey Robinson, The Eagles and much more.

Flower Festival Grand Opening
An evening of musical entertainment heralds this special open evening to mark the start of our 2011 flower festival. The theme of the Festival is "Life on the Ocean Waves - A World Cruise" and the flower arrangers will be on hand to talk through their displays and give useful tips and advice.
Background music will be performed by Jack Jowsey.

Scalby Fair Day
An afternoon Traditional Fair along Scalby High Street with over 50 stalls from local organisations:- featuring arts and crafts, tombola, delicious hot food, ice cream, childrens entertainment and small fair rides. Entry is FREE and the day features Lively Music, Morris Dancers, Irish Dancers and Scarborough's Dance Warehouse. Our theme this year is "Life on the Ocean Waves" and children are invited to dress up for the fancy dress competition, judged by the Mayor, with great prizes to be won.
