Tony Peers Variety Extravaganza

Tony Peers Variety Night Out
Great night out for all the family. - An evening of music and laughter brought to you by the professional performers from Scarborough's favourite shows.
Scalby Village Hall, 7.30pm

Available from The Nags Head and other village outlets

Monday 15th
Nags Head Challenge Run

Juniors(under 14's) - An off road race of just under 2 miles around the village. Entry is free and registration is at the Nags Head by 6:15 p.m. All welcome. Prizes to be won!

Adults (14 and over) - A four and a half mile challenge from the Nags Head, Scalby around Cum Boots to Scalby Nabs. Entry is free and registration takes place from 6:00 p.m. with the race starting at 7:00 p.m. Club members and amateurs welcome - Prizes to be won!


Tuesday 16th
Family Treasure Hunt

An exciting and challenging treasure hunt around Scalby Village. Great fun for all the family. Entry is only 50p per person and £1 per family. Registration from 6:00p.m. outside the Nags Head, Scalby.


Wednesday 17th
Wine Tasting and Barbeque Evening

Wine Tasting Evening
Enjoy tasting your favourite, and new wines, in the friendly atmosphere of the beer garden at The Nags Head (indoors if wet). Listen to the comments and advice from our wine enthusiast and improve your knowledge in a most enjoyable way. An entrance fee of £7.00 for adults covers all wine with delicious hot food available to line the stomach!!! From 7.00pm


Thursday 18th
Patrick Dean at The Nags Head

Wine Tasting EveningA great night of fun and music performed by Scarborough's vocal sensation Patrick Dean. Join us from 7.30 pm - ADMISSION FREE!!!!! BBQ food available.


Friday 19th
Flower Festival Grand Open Evening

An evening of musical entertainment heralds this special open evening to mark the start of our 2009 flower festival. The theme of the Festival is "By the Sea" and the flower arrangers will be on hand to talk through their displays and give useful tips and advice. Music and singing will be performed by prominent local artists followed by a buffet and glass of wine. St Laurence's Church 7.30pm Tickets Priced at £6.00 will be available from The Church and Scalby Village outlets

Saturday 20th - Scalby Fair Day

Scalby Fair Day 2009
An afternoon Traditional Fair along Scalby High Street with over 50 stalls from local organisations:- featuring arts and crafts, tombola, delicious hot food, ice cream, childrens entertainment and small fair rides. Entry is FREE and the day features Lively Music, Morris Dancers, Irish Dancers and Scarborough's Dance Warehouse. Our theme this year is "By the Seaside" and children are invited to dress up for the fancy dress competition, judged by the Mayor, with great prizes to be won.
